TOKAI Workshop
On October 16th, 2018, ALBCONTROL hosted a workshop where experts of the ANSP presented to the Albanian CAA and OKIIA (National Body of Accidents Investigation and Air Incidents in the Civil Aviation) a new Toolkit for ATM Occurrence Investigation, TOKAI.
TOKAI is a web based tool developed by EUROCONTROL, consisting of several applications, whose purpose is to support the completion of reports, investigation processes, risk analysis, preparation of detailed statistics and the necessary exchange of safety information.
Parallel to the existent reporting system, ALBCONTROL is using TOKAI to ensure that all safety measures are updated to be in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
This workshop will insure that TOKAI will become the sole method of safety data sharing between Albcontrol, ACAA and OKIIA. Additionally, it will require the agreement of all stakeholders for the use of the appropriate forms and data.
