Albcontrol is the Air Navigation Services Provider (ANSP) of the Republic of Albania. Its air navigation services are certified and continuously supervised by the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority (ACAA).

According to the change of its legal status, from Joint Stock Company into Public Entity based on law no. 40/2024 “On the air navigation service provider “Albcontrol””, the Public Entity Albcontrol was certified as the Air Navigation Services Provider on 30 December 2025, in accordance with the Air Code of the Republic of Albania no. 96, dated 23 July 2020, and Order of the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy no. 193, dated 6 October 2022, “On the Approval of the Regulation on “Laying Down Common Requirements for Providers of Air Traffic Management/Air Navigation Services and Other Air Traffic Management Network Functions and Their Oversight””, transposing Regulation (EU) 2017/373, as amended, into national legislation.

In addition, Albcontrol is also certified as a Training Organisation in accordance with Order of the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy no. 171/2025, dated on 11 November 2025, “Laying Down Technical Requirements and Administrative Procedures Relating to Air Traffic Controllers’ Licences and Certificates”, transposing Regulation (EU) 2015/340, as amended.
