The Director of the Technical Division, ALBCONTROL, Mr. Maksim Et’hemaj, is elected Vice Chairman of NewPENS Executive Board. | 20.01.2016
ALBCONTROL senior management participated in the meeting organized on January 14th, 2016 by EUROCONTROL. The meeting was focused on the steps taken to implement NewPENS, which will provide a common, secure IP-based network service across Europe, making it easier to share information while at the same time reducing costs.
36 representatives from 23 organizations attended the meeting. During the meeting it was elected the Chairman of the Top Management Board as well as the Chairman of the Executive Board.
Mr. Maxim Et’hemaj, Director of the Technical Division at ALBCONTROL, was elected Vice Chairman of the Executive Board.
NewPENS will be implemented in 2018 and it will enable data exchange (SWIM) across Europe. It will also take inputs from the Network Manager, EUROCONTROL Centralized Services as well as from ANSP’s.
