Safety Team 20
On June 13th- 14th 2018, ALBCONTROL hosted the “EUROCONTROL Safety Team 20” event that took place in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
Safety Team is a permanent working group of EUROCONTROL whose focus is to make improvements to the safety in the Provision of Air Navigation Services within the ECAC States, by promoting, developing and maintaining effective European Safety Management.
During this meeting, experiences and safety lessons were shared between all the ANSP’s representatives with emphasis a few important topics:
- Compliance versus risk – a possible new approach lead by NATS
- HF in ATM design lead by DFS
- Remote and digital TWR, Safety and HF assurance lead by Hungarocontrol
- Preparation for the CEO Safety Conference Copenhagen 2019
The safety Team 20 event was carried out in a positive atmosphere, where the delegates of the ANSP’s EUROCONTROLs members tasted a glimpse of Albania’s traditional hospitality.
