Enlarged Committee for Route Charges approves Unit Rate 2018 for Albania
On the first day of the 109th Session of the enlarged Committee for Route Charges taking place in EUROCONTROL on November 22th and 23th 2017, the unit rate for 2018 of Albania has been successfully approved.
IATA representatives welcomed our country’s initiative to lower the Unit Rate by 3.9% compared to the previous year and congratulated Albania on behalf of all airspace users.
The enlarged Committee holds at least two sessions per year (in June and November), and constitutes the main forum for multilateral consultation with the user organizations, who are the representatives of the main aircraft operators. In the June session, States present their first estimates for calculating their cost-bases for the following year, and in November they discuss on the final figures and calculation of the unit rates for the following year.
