1.    INTRODUCTION

1.1  This AIRAC AIP Supplement incorporates information on the operational status of navigation aids and procedures at Tirana International Airport (LATI), published by NOTAM.

2.   PURPOSE

2.1  The purpose of this AIRAC AIP Supplement is to notify aircraft operators and flight crews of changes to instrument approach procedures (IAP) and aeronautical ground lighting at LATI.
2.2  This AIRAC AIP Supplement explicitly identifies the affected instrument approach procedure charts to prevent inadvertent use of invalid procedures.

3.   AFFECTED PROCEDURES AND CHARTS

3.1  The ILS or LOC RWY 17 approach procedure (LATI AD 2.24-25) is suspended.
3.2  The VOR RWY 17 approach procedure (LATI AD 2.24-27) remains available, subject to serviceability of the TRN VOR/DME and ATC instructions.
3.3  The VOR RWY 35 approach procedure (LATI AD 2.24-29) remains available. However, Approach Lighting System for RWY 35 is not available (see Section 4).
3.4  Unavailability of approach lighting system for RWY 35 may affect all approaches related to this runway. Flight crews shall check applicable minima and lighting requirements on the relevant approach charts and comply with ATC instructions.

4.   OPERATING RESTRICTIONS

4.1  The IAC ILS or LOC RWY 17 procedure shall not be used.
4.2  In the event that airborne navigation databases still depict IAC ILS or LOC RWY 17, flight crews shall disregard that coding and comply with the published procedures currently in force.
4.3  Approach lighting system for RWY 35 is not available. Pilots shall be prepared for reduced visual cues, particularly during night operations and/or in reduced visibility, and shall apply published minima accordingly.

5.   IMPLEMENTATION

5.1  This AIRAC AIP Supplement is effective from 19 MAR 2026 and remains in force until the concerned facilities are restored and/or the information is promulgated by AIRAC AIP amendment and/or NOTAM.
